The technological environment and abundance of information is changing rapidly. The technical information specialist is confronted by ever-larger quantities of information that can be accessed, analyzed, and disseminated more rapidly through more powerful information systems and high-speed networks. Technical information specialists acquire, organize, access, and disseminate information across a wide spectrum of subjects and fields. On daily basis, you will use knowledge to perform assignments involving the categorization, summarization, or location of scientific, technical, or other specialized information to enable intelligence production across a wide spectrum of subjects and fields to support national security efforts. 

Highly Desired: 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education or master's or equivalent graduate degree in subject matter field, computer systems, computer science, information technology, information security, information systems, or relevant experience.

• Uses content management systems (SharePoint and others) to optimize efficiencies, and effectiveness in the dissemination finished intelligence products. 
• Works with data management and analytical skills to create solutions and make recommendations to analysts.
• Evaluates and assess user requests, changes, and assist with planning the implementation, enhancement and updates.
• Troubleshoots issues with data aggregation, structure, and queries.
• Reviews existing statistical datasets, studies design, and reports findings and determines research integrity, statistical validity, and practical significance of results.
