Intern Qualifications:
- Sophomore, junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business-economics, or related major
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 and above
- Strong initiative, organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal skills
- Ability to interact with all levels of the firm
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Knowledge of financial software applications (QuickBooks, Quicken, etc) is a plus, but not required
- Meets firm standards for attendance, punctuality, and work deadlines
Through your CK Internship, you will…
- Gain a basic understanding of tax preparation skills, including the use of CCH ProSystems fx tax Suite software
- Work on real year-end client work (trial balances, journal entries, work papers, etc.)
- Compile financial statements, assist with reviews and audits
- Collaborate with all levels of the firm, from associate to partner
- Full-time, paid internship at 40 hours a week with overtime as needed, and part-time options available for those seeking flexibility
Internship Length: Early January 2025 (exact date TBD) to April 15, 2025
