Accounting Intern

Intern Qualifications:

  • Sophomore, junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business-economics, or related major
  • Preferred GPA of 3.0 and above
  • Strong initiative, organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the firm
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Knowledge of financial software applications (QuickBooks, Quicken, etc) is a plus, but not required
  • Meets firm standards for attendance, punctuality, and work deadlines

 

Through your CK Internship, you will…

  • Gain a basic understanding of tax preparation skills, including the use of CCH ProSystems fx tax Suite software
  • Work on real year-end client work (trial balances, journal entries, work papers, etc.)
  • Compile financial statements, assist with reviews and audits
  • Collaborate with all levels of the firm, from associate to partner
  • Full-time, paid internship at 40 hours a week with overtime as needed, and part-time options available for those seeking flexibility

 

Internship Length: Early January 2025 (exact date TBD) to April 15, 2025
