Entry-Level IT Business Analyst

Pay: $23.08/hour
8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
Location: Hybrid in Atlanta, GA

Our team is in need of an IT Business Analyst contractor to assist the Vendor Support Team with the certification testing process for software vendors' paper and electronic submissions

Primary Responsibilities

  • Test software vendors' paper tax documents and payment vouchers for barcodes, content, placement, and scanlines
  • Test software vendors' electronic file submissions for standards, accuracy, and completeness
  • Provide software vendors with feedback by documenting errors discovered during testing
  • Review electronic formatted files to ensure data elements are present
  • Test and review web forms for posting to the Department's website


Entry Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Business Management, Mathematics, Computer Science or Graphic Design


Qualifications

  • Experience in the testing process to verify information meets the defined standards
  • Experience documenting and tracking errors
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Notepad) and basic computer skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with reviewing and testing electronic file formats and data
  • Experience with software design applications for multi-media forms such as Adobe Professional, Illustrator, InDesign, and JavaScript
  • Experience of working knowledge of XML
  • Experience using repositories to store information

Looking for candidates that have more experience in the following areas:

  • Testing (Forms and Electronic)
  • JavaScript
  • XML
  • The Adobe Suite of products (Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Pro, Photoshop)

Required Questions: 

Question 1: Absences greater than two weeks MUST be approved by CAI management in advance, and contact information must be provided to Our Client so that the employee can be reached during his or her absence. The Client has the right to dismiss the you if you do not return to work by the agreed upon date. Do you agree to this requirement?

Question 3: If selected for engagement, your hourly Pay Rate will be $23.08, are you willing to work for $23.08/hour? 

 

Question 4: If selected for engagement, you will be expected to start no later than 2 weeks (10 business days) after the client's selection date. Are you able to start within 10 Business days? 

 

Question 5: This assignment is contingent upon customer renewal and availability of adequate funding. Do you agree to this requirement?

Question 7: HYBRID work option: However, the if selected, you must be available to report onsite in Atlanta as directed by the client. Do you accept this requirement?
