Human Resources Intern
Job Purpose
The Human Resources Intern will perform a variety of services as outlined herein and back-up for other areas outlined herein, as well as, policy/procedure interpretation and administration, employee relations, counseling, investigations, FMLA and ADA compliance and record keeping.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet employees, answer employee inquiries and / or refer them to the appropriate person.
- Assist with New Hire Orientation and on-boarding
- Make employee badges
- I-9 entry and compliance
- Update and maintain training documentation within current Training Matrix
- Enter and modify employees in various HR systems
- Create and maintain personnel folders
- Assist with attendance policy
- Conduct interviews for various positions
- Assist HR department with data entry and collection
- Maintain manpower reports
- Maintain emergency contact list
- Provide back-up within the department and perform other duties as assigned
