MSW Mental Health/Addictions Therapist Intern- Hickory Recovery Network

About the Role:
- Under the immediate supervision of the Clinical Director, Therapists will
- Serve as a direct clinical professional providing individual, group and family therapy
- Treat a selected caseload of clients suffering from behavioral health and addiction related issues
- Must be able to perform biopsychosocial assessments
- Participate in multi-disciplinary treatment and monitor discharge planning for clients

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, group and family therapy to the clients.
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments when Tele-Health is unavailable.
- Provide consistent, daily, APPROPRIATE engagement with clients, providing support through implementation of the treatment plan.
- Assist with discharge planning as needed.
- Help individuals develop coping skills and implement interventions as directed.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients during their treatment.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Additional duties as directed by the Clinical Director
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field required with Current Indiana Licensure Or license eligible accepted.
- Experience working in a mental health or healthcare setting is highly desired.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport and build relationships with patients.
- Knowledge of “best practices” behavioral medicine treatment delivery and methodologies and MAT services or MAT certification preferred.
- Sound clinical judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to understand the requirements of the clientele.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to effectively handle challenging situations.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Compensation: Licensed Therapist: $60,000- $75,000/year Licensed Eligible: $21-$25/hr
