AV Intern

Our Audio-Visual (AV) Department, located in La Crosse, WI at the Corporate Offices is seeking an AV Intern to assist the larger AV team with video productions, editing support, event coordination, and other day-to-day activities around the studio and out in the field.

 

In this role you will learn how video, audio and photography is created from conception, production, to final deliverable and gain insight into its impact on our larger marketing activities. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Currently attending school for Communications, Audio Production, Media, or related field of study.
  • Understanding of basic photography and video systems and components.
  • Awareness of current video trends.
  • Knowledge of basic video editing processes.
  • Knowledge of and basic aptitude of Adobe Creative Apps, particularly Premier Pro, and Mac OS software products required for media creation.
  • Self-motivation, careful attention to detail, taking initiative to organize tasks and problem-solving with a desire to learn.
  • Well-developed communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as with a team and a willingness to travel within our regional market footprint.
  • Ability to effectively tell a story and convey a specific message through visual means.

 

Prior experience working with both video and photography equipment and a working knowledge of video editing software, like Adobe Premier, is desirable.

Photography skills are also a plus.                                                                                                                                  

Work Schedule: This is a paid internship that will start in the Fall of 2024 through Spring of 2025 (September - May roughly). Typical work hours will be Monday through Friday, daytime hours. Some overnights and weekend hours may also be required. It is important to note, that we offer flexibility with school scheduling.
