SERVICE AIDE
MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE AND PASS A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK!
Duties:
Check the interior and exterior of campus buildings for hazards i.e. broken windows, missing fire extinguishers, lights out, etc. Assist motorists with jump-starting their vehicles. Selective parking enforcement around the OU campus. Assist with crime prevention program. Provide visual escorts from campus buildings to dorms or parking lots on campus. Other duties as assigned.
Police Service Aides must be professional, motivated, and able to follow direction while providing a good representation of the Oakland University Police Department.
Hours: 25 hours per week for fall and winter semesters. 40 hours per week for summer semester. Staring pay is $15.00/hour.
