Student Assistant for Residential Facilities

JOB SUMMARY

The Student Assistant for Residential Facilities is responsible for supporting the Assistant Director for Residential Facilities as well as providing support for the office of the Assistant Director for Finance and Operations within University Housing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Must have Oakland University email and apply with your Oakland University email
  • Must have sophomore, junior, or senior class standing or be a graduate student at Oakland University by Fall 2024
  • Current cumulative and semester GPA must be 2.5 or higher
  • Must not be found responsible for serious conduct violations
  • Must have valid driver's license
  • Previous custodial experience is desired.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Greet in-person guests and answer phones
  • Complete special projects and other tasks as needed
  • Learn & know the location of all rooms and equipment in the Housing Department
  • Download information to spreadsheets and specific databases
  • Provide office support, including scanning, data entry, copying, and filing
  • Performs work-related on-campus errands and keeps office areas clean and tidy
  • Provide support e-Maintenance
  • Be comfortable using the Google Drive platform, including Sheets, Docs, Calendar, Sites, and Forms
