Intern, Emergency Preparedness (Remote)

Nutrien is now accepting applications for an Intern, Emergency Preparedness (Remote)

 

Reporting to the Emergency Response & Preparedness Manager this position is responsible for:

Under general direction, plans, organizes and manages emergency response programs.  This includes auditing, programs reviews, and ability to complete new projects associated with emergency response.

 

  • Location: Augusta, GA or remote work.
  • Terms: Part-time Internship - July - December 2024

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes, projects activities; meets with individuals, departments, and committees to define contactor and project initiatives, selection criteria, timelines, etc.
  • Gives group presentations related to selection related topics.
  • Can engage with other Business partners and covey messaging and explain important topics and process throughout the organization. 
  • Assists in developing and implementing new initiatives to streamline processes.
  • Develops and implements trainings for faculty and staff on topics needed.

Projects

  • Ammonia Railcar Training Project
  • Community Outreach for Emergency Response

Audits

  • Emergency Response Plans

 

What you will bring:

  • Pursuing a bachelors’ degree in Emergency Management or equivalent related program.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Data collection and project management experience preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft’s Office Suite
