IT Coordinator
Position Title: IT Coordinator
Department: Information Technology (IT)
Position Summary:
In general, the IT Coordinator provides general administrative support in a fast-paced office environment. The candidate should understand general office procedures, have the ability to communicate effectively, problem solve and provide general administrative support.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Process new hire requests by creating necessary Help Desk tickets.
- Physically set up new hire equipment and configure desk phones.
- Support and Maintain consumables inventory for all printers.
- Monitor Help Desk tickets and assign them as directed.
- Process IT accessories supply orders.
- Maintain and track IT assets in inventory system.
- Manage building Key fob access.
- Update Active Directory with user and computer details.
- Maintain cellphone roster.
- Process Job site set-up requests.
- Answer Help Desk calls and provide 1st level support.
- Install updates, software as needed.
- Assist any walk-ins.
- Other functions as assigned by the IT Director.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
- High School Education or equivalent.
- Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Knowledgeable with using computer applications involving word processing and data entry.
- Working knowledge of office administrative practices and procedures.
- Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must work cooperatively in a diverse work environment.
- Perform other functions that may be assigned.
