IT Coordinator

Position Title:       IT Coordinator

Department:         Information Technology (IT)

Position Summary: 

In general, the IT Coordinator provides general administrative support in a fast-paced office environment. The candidate should understand general office procedures, have the ability to communicate effectively, problem solve and provide general administrative support.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Process new hire requests by creating necessary Help Desk tickets.
  2. Physically set up new hire equipment and configure desk phones.
  3. Support and Maintain consumables inventory for all printers.
  4. Monitor Help Desk tickets and assign them as directed.
  5. Process IT accessories supply orders.
  6. Maintain and track IT assets in inventory system.
  7. Manage building Key fob access.
  8. Update Active Directory with user and computer details.
  9. Maintain cellphone roster.
  10. Process Job site set-up requests.
  11. Answer Help Desk calls and provide 1st level support.
  12. Install updates, software as needed.
  13. Assist any walk-ins.
  14. Other functions as assigned by the IT Director.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:

  1. High School Education or equivalent.
  2. Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills
  3. Knowledgeable with using computer applications involving word processing and data entry.
  4. Working knowledge of office administrative practices and procedures.
  5. Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Must work cooperatively in a diverse work environment.
  7. Perform other functions that may be assigned.
