Show Director

Job Title: Show Director
Location: Remote
Type: Internship
Duration: 6 months

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Director to lead the production of our upcoming show, CJN. The Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the show’s creation, from concept development to final production, ensuring the highest quality and consistency in every episode.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creative Vision and Planning:
    • Develop the overall vision and direction for the show.
    • Collaborate with writers, producers, and other team members to develop and refine show concepts and scripts.
    • Plan the show's structure, pacing, and style to ensure it meets creative and strategic goals.
  • Production Management:
    • Oversee all stages of production, including pre-production, filming, and post-production.
    • Coordinate with the production team to ensure all technical and logistical aspects are handled efficiently.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and inspire the production team, including writers, camera operators, editors, and other crew members.
    • Provide direction and feedback to ensure all team members are working towards the show's vision.
    • Foster a collaborative and creative working environment.
  • Quality Control:
    • Review and approve all final edits of the show.
    • Ensure the show maintains a high standard of quality and aligns with the intended vision.
    • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during production and find effective solutions.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Liaise with network executives, producers, and other stakeholders to communicate progress and address any concerns.
    • Present ideas and updates to stakeholders to ensure alignment and support.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Director in television or film production.
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of production, from pre-production to post-production.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative and strategic thinking abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience directing shows in the same genre as CJN.
  • Familiarity with the latest production techniques and technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
