2024 Construction Management Fall Internship (MI)
Job description
We're seeking dedicated summer interns at Progressive Mechanical. Join us for hands-on experience in Project Management, Estimating, and AutoCAD/REVIT over three months. Plus, interns will have the opportunity to visit job sites and witness firsthand the processes in the field.
Position Overview
Project engineer and/or controls personnel are responsible for the organization and processing of data received from the field, along with subcontractors and vendors. The project engineer/controls position is an important part of the project management team and consists of assisting a project manager with daily tasks in the office or out of town.
General Responsibilities
· Planning/scheduling
· Cost estimating, management, and process controls
· Submittal and RFI management
· Timely and accurate monitoring, prediction, and reporting of cost to complete
· BIM coordination
· Coordinate and participate in meetings
· Ownership of the safety & health of PMI team members
Qualifications
· Education: Higher education degree, high school diploma or GED
· Must have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
· Must have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
· Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
· Strong desire for continued growth and learning in a team environment
· Problem solving and attention to detail
