Strategic Marketing Internship
Join Squad for a 40-80 hour micro-internship focused on marketing and entrepreneurship! As our intern, you'll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment and complete a multi-disciplinary project that includes marketing, product testing, and content creation.
About Squad
Squad is a new micro-social application that combines culturally relevant content with a game-like interface to drive meaningful daily engagement within campus groups.
About the Project
Our internship focuses on an initial project that will be approximately 50-80 hours of work.
Project Details
- Recruit a group of approximately 25 students to support testing our mobile application within iOS’s Beta Test environment. Squad can sponsor an event with free food to help.
- Brainstorm recommendations for in-app content, including polls and question that would resonate with a specific campus audience
- Generate recommendations based on the product experience, gathering feedback from participants
- Manage the setup of a localized social media channel for our specific campus launches, following our guidelines
- Oversee the initiation of a campus ambassador program on your campus, recruiting the first set of users
This internship is ideal for students passionate about marketing and entrepreneurship. You'll develop practical skills in content creation, social media management, and campaign development while contributing to the growth of an exciting startup in the social media space.
Further, you’ll work alongside the company founders and get an inside look at the launch of a new venture-backed product.
Further extended internships will be made available based on successful completion of this project-based program.
