2025 Summer Corporate Communications Intern

As part of our program, you will be part of a team that works every day to promote, protect, and enhance AVANGRID’s reputation with all stakeholders internally and externally. Our team is made up of professionals who are responsible for issues management, media relations, brand building, crisis communications, employee communications and engagement, change communications, social media management, Corporate Social Responsibility, philanthropy, and communications measurement and analysis. The ideal candidate has an interest in communications, marketing or journalism. We spend a lot of time thinking about the written and spoken word, so you also are a good writer who enjoys storytelling that engages audiences.

- Join and learn from a team of communications professionals working in a fast-paced environment. Our company is growing and changing fast and our team manages multiple priorities with a view across the entire business.

Education & Experience Required:
Currently a sophomore, and junior pursuing a Bachelor’s or first year in Master/MBA Degree.
- Experience/interest in journalism, marketing, communications or public relations
- One or more summers remaining prior to the completion of undergraduate or master’s degree
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without the requirement for future sponsorship
