Intern Orientation Highlights
Internship Program Requirements:
- Educational Background: Pursuing a four-year degree with an expected graduation between December 2025 and Summer 2027. Must have overall 2.8GPA
- Transportation: Interns must have their own transportation to and from work.
- Geographical Flexibility: Willing to relocate to one of our ADM locations.
- Background Check: Successful completion of a background check is required.
- Availability: Must be available for a summer internship from mid-May to early August 2025.

Job Summary
This position comprehensively introduces wheat flour milling by working closely with the Commercial Manager and other key staff. Key focus areas include production scheduling and logistics coordination for inbound grain, outbound products, and by-products. You will manage relationships with operational, sales, and quality teams while developing contacts with customers and suppliers. Under the guidance of the Commercial Manager, you’ll also learn to think strategically about growth opportunities, project management, profit and loss analysis, and go-to-market strategies. Additional responsibilities include supporting inventory management, month-end reconciliation, PR/PO processing, and other related tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
- Train and present monthly P&L analysis.
- Learn the procurement and execution of bulk truck, rail, and packaging lines.
- Track grain movements, including inbound rail and wheat truck scheduling.
- Collaborate with centralized customer service to manage customer orders.
- Develop Go-To-Market strategies for the mill and Free-to-Sell products.
- Monitor and report flour, wheat, ingredients, and by-products inventories.
- Make timely, coordinated decisions to support operations.
- Participate in month-end reconciliation and PR/PO processing as needed.
- Engage with operations, quality, and sales teams to understand their roles.
- Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety.
- Contribute to special projects to enhance learning and training.
- Participate in daily operations reviews.
