Finance Intern
Inteva Finance Interns get the chance to learn about Finance’s role in supporting a manufacturing company, gain hands-on experience, and work on meaningful projects that make an impact. The intern in this role will work with the Finance team out of Inteva's World Headquarters in Troy, MI.
Inteva’s Summer 2025 Intern Program includes more than your day-to-day work. Your experience will include supplemental learning and development opportunities, such as executive lunch-and-learns and professional workshops. You will support Inteva’s core value of caring for the world and our communities with group volunteering opportunities throughout the summer. Most importantly, you will have fun, learn, and grow as part of a cohort of summer interns.
What will you get to work on?
- Support the Product Group to audit and establish process for measuring/analyzing program metrics from original approval (AR) to CT Gate (final gate, handoff to operations), and finally actuals at the plant. Gather data for select group of programs and audit process. Summarize Gaps and major drivers. Propose standard process based on drivers.
- Support Inteva Global 5 Year Business Plan process with focus on Revenue, Capex, and Margins: Derive insights into Product, Customer, and Regional plans by sorting and dissecting large amounts of data, summarizing for reviews and management presentations.
- Support special studies using Power BI data collection/analysis, benchmarking studies, and financial impacts related to customer performance.
Requirements for this internship:
- Currently enrolled student pursuing Finance or related degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
