Job Title: Electrical Controls Intern

Job Type: Part Time Intern or Full Time Intern

Responsibilities:

  • Under guidance and supervision of a Senior Engineer assist in PLC programming, Robot programming, HMI programming, or Panel wiring.
  • Under guidance and supervision of a Senior Engineer assist with testing and troubleshooting the systems to ensure functionality meets project requirements.
  • Support the Installation and startup of the systems at customer sites.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree, or Equivalent Experience in PLC programming, Robot programming, HMI programming, or Panel wiring.
  • Basic understanding of Inputs and Outputs, Field Devices, Safety devices, Pneumatics.
  • Eagerness to learn and further develop skills in PLC programming, Robot programming, HMI programming, Panel wiring.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and learn from experienced team members.

Good to have skills:

  • Academic projects, Internship, or Work experience related to PLC programming, robot programming, HMI programming, panel wiring.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder logic) is a plus.
  • Exposure to industrial communication protocols (Ethernet IP, Modbus, ProfiNET, I/O Link) is an advantage.
  • Analytical and Problem-solving skills and Communication skills to convey ideas.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to ensure skill growth and contribute to innovative solutions.
