Grader for the DMS

Undergraduate student grader for courses in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics has a number of grader positions for MTH 0661, 0662, 1441, 1331, 1332, 1221, 1222, 1554, 1555, and possibly some courses in STA 2220, 2221, 2222 in the academic year.

To apply:

Please do the following:

1.) submit an application within handshake

2.) E-mail your application to Professor Yongjin Lu (ylu2@oakland.edu). An application must include the following (in this order):

  1. Your name.
  2. Your major.
  3. Undergraduate student or graduate student.
  4. Mathematics and Statistics courses that you have taken at OU and their respective grades.
  5. Number of desirable hours per week (up to 20) in the appropriate semester that you are applying for (ex. Fall 2024, Winter 2025.
  6. If you have graded for the department before, indicate the courses that you have graded and the instructors that you have graded for.
  7. Courses that you are interested in grading.
  8. Courses that you are not interested in grading.
