Laboratory Assistant

The School of Nursing is looking for current nursing students who wish to expand their knowledge and gain experience as a Laboratory Assistant. Students must have completed NRS 2024 and be in good academic standing. The role includes assisting faculty, staff and students in the nursing laboratories that include the community, health assessment, therapeutic and simulation labs located on the 4th floor of the HHB. The lab assistant must be comfortable in their skills to be able to assist students with questions and demonstrations. 

The duties of this role include, but are not limited to:

stocking

cleaning 

organizing the lab

answering student questions

helping with inventory

maintaining the function of the labs
