Literary Illustrator Internship - Summer 2025
Literary Illustrator Interns receive hands-on practical experience in editorial art and illustration in publishing. Interns are encouraged to explore projects through their established aesthetic and illustrate different forms of writing creatively while approaching the conceptualization and art-making process with tools and resources gained in school.
Who we look for:
High School, Undergraduate, or Graduate students who have a passion for writing, literature, and all things poetry; students who are interested in building their portfolio early on and want to learn how to create engaging digital content from published works while exploring illustration in publishing.
What You'll Learn and Gain:
- Develop proficiency in conceptualizing and executing illustrations across various mediums, fostering creative awareness for published works and supporting Lucky Jefferson’s mission and initiatives.
