What you’ll gain:


As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will gain valuable knowledge and experience in the field through hands-on activities, coaching, and projects. A few learning opportunities include:

  • Quality Assurance: Assisting in the development and implementation of quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure product reliability and consistency.
     
  • Inspection and Testing: Conducting inspections and tests on products and materials to ensure they meet specified quality standards.
     
  • Root Cause Analysis: Investigating and analyzing defects and non-conformances to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
     
  • Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements and supporting initiatives to enhance overall product quality.
     
  • Data Analysis: Analyzing quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and preparing reports to communicate findings.
     
  • Documentation: Maintaining detailed quality documentation, including inspection records, test results, and process audits.
     
  • Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain, to ensure quality standards are met throughout the production process.

What you need to be successful:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a field related to the internship
  • Minimum GPA requirement of a 3.0
     

Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic project management or organizational skills.
     

Personal Attributes:

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Positive attitude and adaptability to new challenges.
     

Availability:

  • Willingness to commit to the internship duration, typically 10-12 weeks for a summer internship.
  • Ability to work in the location where the internship is offered.
