What you’ll gain:
 

As a Materials/Logistics Management Intern, you will gain valuable knowledge and experience in the field through hands-on activities, coaching, and projects. A few learning opportunities include:
 

• Inventory Management: Assisting in the management and optimization of inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Supporting the coordination of supply chain activities, including procurement, transportation, and warehousing.
• Logistics Planning: Developing and implementing logistics plans to ensure efficient and cost-effective movement of goods.
• Data Analysis: Analyzing data to track inventory levels, monitor performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
• Supplier Relations: Communicating with suppliers to manage orders, track deliveries, and resolve issues.
• Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements and supporting initiatives to enhance logistics and materials management.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of inventory, shipments, and logistics operations.
• Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

What you need to be successful:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a field related to the internship
• Minimum GPA requirement of a 3.0

Skills:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic project management or organizational skills.
