One Engineering is our three-year early careers program designed to create a pipeline of diverse professional engineers who are high performers, have broad discipline experience and a transferable skillset. 

Early career discipline engineers build their experience through challenging development assignments to develop a toolkit of transferable skills for the future, with a dedicated network of support to help them succeed. 

We have roles on offer in:  

  • Civil
  • Chemical and process
  • Electrical
  • Instrument and control
  • Mechanical

Package

  • You can expect a competitive base salary, plus an annual discretionary bonus. - 
  • Settling in allowance: as a bp early career, you will receive a one-off sign-on bonus
  • Holidays: employees get at least three weeks of paid vacation, nine paid holidays and two personal floating holidays.
  • Relocation: assistance is available for students moving over 50 miles for an early career role.

  • Pension plan: you will receive a pension through the Retirement Accumulation Plan and a 401(K) with a 7% dollar-for-dollar matching contribution.

 These are our requirements:  

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline
  • Graduating between December 2025 and May 2026 (if degree not yet obtained)
  • Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions
  • *Will not require sponsorship now or in the future

*Certain roles requiring advanced degree may be eligible for sponsorship.
