Business Analyst Intern
As the Business Analyst Intern, you will join a development team working on projects that directly impact our customers. The Business Analyst Intern will work to translate customer/market needs into software solutions. We place mentors on the team with you during your program so we can all learn together. We are looking for candidates with a collaborative mindset and a passion for solving problems.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Work with the Product Owner and mentor BA to understand the project scope.
- Gather requirements from customers via various methods.
- Write user stories, including acceptance criteria and scope statements.
- Perform user acceptance testing/customer reviews and present at internal bi-weekly demo.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, and Sprint Retro.
- Participate in design discussions, user story writing sessions, and estimating meetings.
- Complete high-level testing of projects after code completion.
- Review test plans and user documentation.

Strong knowledge and application of agile methodology.
Excellent listening, written, and oral communication skills.
Ability to facilitate customer interviews.
Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and Business Analysis practices.
Great analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving abilities.
Capable of effective communication and problem-solving problems.
Ability to interact with peers and customers and have a true passion for improving customer experiences.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Working toward a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or other technology-related fields.
A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Normal office environment with the use of computers and telephone systems; no unusual physical demands.
