Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented University Intern to join our Marketing & Communications team. This role is heavily focused on copy editing, content creation, and ensuring the highest standards of written communication. The ideal candidate should have a passion for marketing, social media, and digital communication, with a keen eye for detail and a strong command of the English language.
Responsibilities:
- Copy Editing & Proofreading: Review and edit marketing materials, website content, emails, and social media posts to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with the brand voice.
- Draft and Review Corporate Biographies: To enhance the brand presence of our consultants across their client base.
- Content Creation: Assist in creating compelling and engaging content for various platforms, including blogs, social media, newsletters, and other marketing collateral.
- Website Updates: Assist with website content updates and maintenance using platforms such as WordPress and HubSpot.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to support campaign development and provide insights for content strategy.
- Project Assistance: Support special projects and campaigns, including preparing materials and tracking key performance metrics.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing team to brainstorm and develop innovative ideas for promoting our brand.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a university program, majoring in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional copy-editing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems like WordPress and HubSpot is a plus but will also be introduced.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with the ability to propose and implement new ideas.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and tools.

- Previous experience in a marketing or communications role.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, or New York, Ankura is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. A reasonable estimate of the current payrate for this internship is: $24/hr.
