At Haleon, we design and develop products and technologies to address consumer unmet and underserved needs.  The US Respiratory R&D team is responsible for delivering innovation for iconic brands including Theraflu, Robitussin, and Flonase. We leverage the power of teamwork, curiosity, scientific excellence, and consumer obsession to solve everyday problems.

What will your individual contribution at Haleon be?

This position will allow the selected candidate to support new product development as an integrated member of the US Respiratory R&D team. They will work in close partnership with a technical mentor and support fellow team members in conducting lab experiments, developing formulations and/or providing analysis and evaluation of material and products at all stages of the development process.

To enable you to perform in this future talent opportunity:

Education required:

  • Pursuing a BS degree in Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or related science.
  • Must have an active student status. Post-doctoral candidates are not eligible.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands on lab experience and experience maintaining an accurate laboratory notebook.
  • Basic knowledge of scientific principles and techniques
  • Awareness of safe laboratory practices, PPE requirements, hazardous waste handling and disposal

 

Other requirements:

  • Candidate must be able to work full-time (40 hours/ week) Monday-Friday for 12 weeks.
  • Ability to start in June 2025.
  • This role is onsite at our Richmond, VA location.
  • Provide your own funding for relocation and commuting.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US at the time of, and for the duration of employment. Employees will be required to furnish evidence of US work authorization.
