Help to develop innovative products for the North American market using the latest analytical techniques.

 

The lab-based role involves developing and running high performance liquid chromatography methods with various detection modes including UV light and mass spectrometry to analyze and develop Haleon’s innovative consumer products.

 

You’ll be active in the lab and working with a cross-functional team of pharmaceutical R&D scientists. The candidate will get real-world experience working in a modern pharmaceutical R&D lab.

 

What will your individual contribution at Haleon be?

  • Train on and run high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC/UPLC) with and without mass spectrometry detection (LC-MS) to develop analytical methodologies to track drug assay and/or degradation products.
  • Develop and execute experimental plans while documenting experiments in an electronic notebook in a GMP environment.
  • Collaborate with Haleon R&D scientific subject matter experts to optimize methodology and drug prototypes.
  • Present findings within the Haleon R&D community.

To enable you to perform in this future talent opportunity:

Education required:

  • Rising junior or senior currently enrolled in an Undergraduate program majoring in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or other related physical sciences.

 

Other requirements:

  • Candidate must be able to work full-time (40 hours/ week) Monday-Friday for 12 weeks.
  • Ability to start in June 2025.
  • This role is onsite at our Richmond, VA location.
  • Provide your own funding for relocation and commuting.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US at the time of, and for the duration of employment. Employees will be required to furnish evidence of US work authorization.
