Software Engineer Intern (Full Stack)

Join our growing digital team at Pella Corporation as a Software Engineer Intern. This is an exciting opportunity to help build digital products and experiences that strengthen our relationships with customers and our manufacturing process. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, passionate about technology, and enjoys solving problems. You’ll work alongside experienced developers, product managers, and designers, gaining hands-on experience in building digital solutions.

 

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

- Assist with the development and deployment of web applications using React.

- Learn and apply Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices with GitHub Actions.

- Collaborate with other developers and technical leads to create and integrate APIs, microservices, and GraphQL solutions.

- Work with the Product and Design teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical tasks.

- Participate in agile ceremonies (like standups and sprints) to help develop and release new features iteratively.

Qualifications

 

Qualifications:

- Basic knowledge of version control tools like Git and GitHub.

- Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python, C++, or Node.js. 

- Completed projects or training related to full-stack development; from backend services to front-end app interfaces,

- A proactive, problem-solving mindset, comfortable with taking initiative and asking questions.

- Proven ability in collaborating with others in a team setting.
