Transmission Interconnections Intern

Transmission Interconnections is on the brink of a massive transformation, as New England transitions to a world where we are interconnecting large quantities of renewable energy and retiring fossil fuel fired power generators.  Eversource is working diligently to support this drastic change, by providing the Transmission infrastructure needed to make the move to reduce carbon emissions. To make this vision a reality, we need someone who can complete the following tasks:    

• Documents the processes within the department and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Write business procedures and job aids
  • Create knowledge library in OneNote
• Develops and prepares various reports, notes, plans, etc.
• Analyzing and summarizing various data points and reports
• Collects and summarizes feedback regarding changes, procedures, etc.

Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Technical Knowledge/Skill:

• Proficient with MS Office Suite especially Word, Excel, OneNote, Visio and PowerPoint
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good analytical skills

Education:  Student should be pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Communications, related degree or equivalent experience
