Supply Chain Data Analyst Intern

This position is a full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid internship that will begin on June 2, 2025 and conclude on August 8, 2025.

Job Purpose:

Our Supply Chain Data Analyst intern will be responsible for performing fact-based, data-driven analysis, modeling on significant amounts of data across all supply chain and customer service functions, using advanced analytical/statistical and optimization tools. This role will also work with external/internal customers and cross-functional teams on various projects to optimize the supply chain. Your responsibility will also include development of supply chain processes and systems to optimize customer service levels, inventory investment, capital investment, sales, and profitability.

Job Responsibilities:

● Collaborate with multiple internal customers on projects and presentations.
● Identify opportunities to streamline process improvements.
● Take ownership of a project and then assist other team members to support company initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

● Performs fact-based, data-driven analysis, and modeling on significant amounts of data.
● Write complex (multiple joins, aggregation, dynamic SQL, etc.) and efficient SQL code to pull large amounts of data.
● Perform data validation and data wrangling for analytics.
● Create and test tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
● Analyze and develop supply chain processes and systems to optimize customer service levels, inventory investment.
● Understand the outcome of the analysis and summarize the results to derive meaningful insights and action items for improvement.
● Present and visualize the results in the form of reports and dashboards.
● Pursuing industrial/supply chain engineering, mathematics, statistics, operations research or other related field preferred. Masters degree is preferred. 
● Understanding of relational database concepts, technical environments, database platforms, related tools and utilities.
● SQL skills (Writing queries to pull large data set, performing analysis on large data set using SQL queries, etc.).
● Knowledge of programming language a plus (C++, C#, Java, Python or other similar languages).
● Knowledge of predictive analytics or Linear/Mixed-Integer programming a plus.
● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and basic Excel (Pivot tables and Formulas) skills.

● The ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
