Test Lab Intern

Inteva Test Engineering Interns get the chance to learn about Engineering Quality’s role in supporting a manufacturing company, gain hands-on experience, and work on meaningful projects that make an impact. The intern in this role will work with the Quality / Engineering Testing team out of Inteva's World Headquarters in Troy, MI.

Inteva’s Summer 2025 Intern Program includes more than your day-to-day work. Your experience will include supplemental learning and development opportunities, such as executive lunch-and-learns and professional workshops. You will support Inteva’s core value of caring for the world and our communities with group volunteering opportunities throughout the summer. Most importantly, you will have fun, learn, and grow as part of a cohort of summer interns. (May 2025-August 2025)

What will you get to work on?

• Learn and Perform Testing on Closures, Interiors and Motors/Electronics products.
• Testing includes reading specs, gathering appropriate equipment, performing the test, and reporting results in a formal test report.
• Participate and report on a special test lab project if available. To be determined at time of work assignment.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements

• Junior-Senior level student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering with a 3.0 GPA or higher
• Strong willingness to learn with active participation
• Good verbal and written communication skills
