Project Coordinator Intern
SUMMARY: The Construction Project Coordinator Intern is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations within PCC to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the desired standards. As well as assisting the project management team with owner schedules, obtaining quotes and working with field employees to ensure all applicable information is being submitted accurately and in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include, but not limited to the following.
• Develop and communicate professional working relationships with the workforce.
• Maintain and work with all divisions to continue our culture according to our core values.
• Attending All project handoffs.
o Estimating to PM Handoff.
o PM to Operations.
o Page Turns & Weekly Team Meetings.
• Follow job start up process/checklist and adding the budgeted manhours per divisions on Operation Schedule Workbook.
• Assist and update project manager(s) in weekly Teams meeting with updated crew projections, get feedback from project manager(s) on priority for each job to relay and coordinate with division leaders to ensure all projects are on track to be completed on time and within budget.
• Tracking crew utilization by projecting crew use on projects 2 weeks out by obtaining information from each division leader and their crews and reporting to project manager(s).
• Update Day x Day schedule to ensure project schedules are on track.
• Review, utilize and/or monitor weekly:
o Watch for labor over and underruns on actual hours/budgeted manhour reports.
o Project budgets and job cost reports with ops weekly.
o Assist on approved time entries in Foundation Mobile for potential payroll errors. Reach out to employees to verify and/or clarify hours submitted.
o Review/approve Subcontractor partner invoices to ensure accuracy on cost coding/hours.
o Review/update charges on CLC Lodging invoices to ensure charges are aligning with where crews were scheduled.
• Attend monthly project meetings with project management to relay and give feedback on projected manhours vs actual manhours used on projects.
• Communicate with field employees to ensure daily logs are being submitted accurately and in a timely manner. Review daily logs in Procore to ensure crews are completing onsite and daily based on the projected Day x Day outline.
• Review and monitoring of the field credit card usage ensuring the transactions are coded and approved in a timely manner.
• Assisting and helping bridge the gap between the Field and Office regarding issues related to technology/iPads/Procore.

• Understanding of construction processes, materials, and building codes to make informed decisions and oversee technical aspects of the project.
• Careful attention to detail to ensure that all aspects of the project meet quality standards and specifications.
• Proficiency in prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines and milestones.
• Familiarity with ProCore, Foundation Mobile, project management tools, and other relevant technology.

The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the outdoor, indoor, or loud areas. Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in typical office environment.
