MES Intern

Job Description

The Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Engineer is responsible for implementing the Webasto MES system along with training and maintain data accuracy within the system for the Manufacturing Areas.

 

Job Responsibilities:

· Implement and monitor the Webasto MES system.

· Collaborate with Operations Teams, IT, Quality, Engineering to gather requirements and ensure Efficient use of the MES system.

· Develop and maintain project documentation.

· Maintain and monitor data accuracy within the system and help Production team to rectify data accuracy issues.

· Develop training materials for successful implementation.

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to MES system and related processes.

· Support processes and tasks as defined by the Regional and Plant MES team.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

· Currently enrolled in bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Industrial Engineering, Computer science or Process Engineering

· Good communication skills (written and verbal)

· Good attitude and willingness to learn.

· Self-motivated and good problem-solving skills

· Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

· Strong technical and analytical competence in select areas of technology

· Working knowledge or courses in databases design and database concepts, e.g. Microsoft SQLServer

 

Preferred Qualifications:

· Completed courses in Manufacturing processes, Data analytics, Data visualization or Manufacturing Execution systems.

· Familiarity with software like Ignition and Aegis.

· Available to do full time Fall/Winter Internship
