Scot Forge Company is looking to hire a Process Engineering Intern for the summer of 2025 at the corporate facility in Spring Grove, IL. This internship will provide an understanding of the manufacturing processes pertaining to Forgings and allow a student to gain experience problem solving the design aspects and requirements of our products.

Anticipated Projects include:
- SolidWorks support
- Standardization of order entry practices
- Build PES wizards that can be format stolen for basic orders to remove need to revisit simple specs/increase productivity.
- Investigate test quantity issues between lab/ Process Engineering/ IT
- Research and conduct Nonconformance Reviews (NCR)
- Facilitate Subject Matter Expert (SME) reviews
Qualifications:
Required Skills
- Junior/ Senior pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline
- Communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to change focus often based on needs of the department
- Intermediate SolidWorks skills (or other 3D modeling software)
Preferred Skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Basic manufacturing knowledge
- Ability to understand complex specification wording
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
- Will be working in an office environment
Additional Requirements
- Must be authorized to work anywhere in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Must be able to pass a 90 day head hair drug test today.
