AR/VR Training Simulation Intern - The Toro Company

What Will You Do?

As an AR/VR Simulation Training Intern, you’ll be a valuable contributing member of the team developing cutting-edge training simulation programs using AR/VR technology. This involves using best practices to:

Assess the scope of the training with a focus on immersive learning environments.

Work with subject matter experts to determine the content of the simulation scenarios.

Design and develop AR/VR simulations that enhance the learning experience.

Integrate 3D models, interactive elements, and user interfaces into the AR/VR simulations.

Test and iterate on the simulations to ensure they meet educational objectives.

Assist the team in planning for the evaluation and effectiveness of the simulations.

At the end of your internship, you will have a portfolio-ready AR/VR simulation training program that demonstrates your ability to create immersive learning experiences, a strong asset for future job interviews.

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

Actively pursuing a degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Computer Science, Game Design, or a related program.

Proficiency in AR/VR development tools such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar platforms

Experience with 3D modeling software such as Blender or Maya is a plus

Familiarity with the Articulate 360 platform and e-learning platforms is a plus.

Strong organizational and self-management skills with a high attention to detail

Effective written and oral communication

Creative, systems-thinking approach to adult learning and education

Ability to initiate and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders and subject matter experts.

Competitive Pay- The anticipated pay range is $18.00-21.00 per hour.
