R&D Intern
We are seeking a highly motivated Research & Development (R&D) Intern to join the Corbion team in Lenexa, KS. The successful candidate should be passionate about conducting bakery science research in bakery applications and bakery ingredient functionalities and interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Under general supervision, work on a project to be completed by the end of summer
- Present research findings to R&D team
- Assist and execute bakery and non-bakery projects along with R&D Scientists to address the needs of our customers
- Report/discuss work status and other critical information with peers and R&D management
- Be flexible in taking additional tasks as needed to support business goals
- Assist in maintaining a lab environment that is clean, organized, and work ready
- Cultivate a team atmosphere with peer groups and upper management
Education Major: Bakery Science, Food Science, Cereal Chemistry, or related fields. Technical training or previous experience is a plus.
