Agronomy Intern

Summary

The Agronomy Intern is part of the Plant Sciences research team and supports activities aimed toward improving agricultural crops. The work week would be a 5 day, 8 hour-per-day schedule typically Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Basic computer skills needed for data entry for statistical analysis.
• Assist with annual field projects (planting, data collection, harvest) under the supervision of the field manager.
• Assist with routine maintenance of agronomy supplies.
• Develop a personal project that will positively impact the agronomy team.
• Willingness to become certified and drive a forklift to move materials.
• Occasional overnight travel required.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Typical Education

Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree from 4 year college or university

Required Certifications

Valid driver's license
