Intern, Enterprise Applications

The Iridium Internship Program is an opportunity for students to be a part of the Iridium teams shaping the future of satellite communications. As an Intern, you’ll begin making an impact on real projects from day one! Come prepared to grow, develop, and learn alongside a team and the leaders of our company. The Iridium Internship program is a 12-week program that runs from May 27, 2025 to August 15, 2025. During the program, interns will have the opportunity to provide valuable support to an Iridium department on a project or important work assignment. Interns will also be provided an opportunity to engage with senior leadership and fellow interns via regular engagement activities. Interns will participate in an end of internship presentation, where we ask them to reflect on their summer internships and present a summary of what they have learned and accomplished.

 

What We’re Looking For:

Iridium is looking for a highly motivated Intern to support the Enterprise Applications Team. In this internship you will work hand and hand with our talent team to deliver high value, workflow driven solutions, enable business collaboration, and support the tools that our Engineers use to meet Iridium’s mission.  Through this internship you will learn to support and build solutions delivered in ServiceNow, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and a myriad of tools used to manage and aid in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). This internship will also expose you to cutting edge cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Terraform, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft 365. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Working with the ServiceNow Administrator to configure and build workflow driven catalog items. 
  • Working closely with the ServiceNow Administrator to configure prompts and automations within the ServiceNow Virtual Agent 
  • Work closely with the Software Development Tools Administrators on minor and major product upgrades for the Software Development Tools. 
  • Follow Team standards to set up new Jira Projects, Users, Confluence Spaces, and code repositories. 
  • Assist with the implementation of the SharePoint and Confluence connector 
  • Resolving user support issues in SharePoint, Teams, and ServiceNow

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Things You Must Bring to the Table:

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's or graduate degree program at an accredited academic institution
    • Computer Science or related 
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Must be able to work in person
