Objectives of This Role:

As an Administrative Intern, you will significantly impact OU INC’s brand recognition through strategic social media initiatives and assist with financial analysis, reporting, and management. This role offers hands-on experience in both financial operations and social media, providing valuable insights into financial strategies and social media processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Financial Operations: Assist in preparing financial reports and statements, analyze financial data and trends, and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • System Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend improvements to OU INC’s internal financial reporting and tracking systems, including billing activities and revenue tracking procedures.
  • Develop Social Media Strategies: Create and implement strategies to enhance brand visibility and client engagement, subject to Supervisor approval.
  • Social Media Metrics: Develop and track OU INC’s social media plan and metrics reports.
  • Research: Investigate social media strategies and best practices for metrics tracking.
  • Communication: Provide weekly updates to OU INC’s team on all social media and financial efforts.
  • Feedback and Recommendations: Offer feedback on potential process improvements.
  • Other Responsibilities: Be open to taking on additional tasks assisting OU INC staff members based on your interests and the evolving needs of the team.

Target and Goals:

  • Achieve monthly increases in traffic and engagement across OU INC’s Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter (X) accounts.
  • Enhance social media presence through higher engagement metrics (e.g., followers, likes).
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of OU INC’s financial reporting and operations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Financial Analysis: Eagerness to learn about financial reporting and tracking systems, including billing activities and revenue tracking. Ability to research and implement best practices for financial metrics tracking.
  • Social Media Knowledge: Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their usage.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to collect, interpret, and apply social media data to refine strategies.
  • Business Development Interest: Willingness to learn about business growth and development.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Team Collaboration: Effective in working with the OU INC team, clients, and stakeholders.
