Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with an hourly pay rate of $20-25 / hour. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern with a strong interest in data analytics and graphic design. This role will support the ALD National Accounts team by analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and creating compelling visual content for internal and external stakeholders. The intern will gain hands-on experience in the alcohol beverage distribution industry; collaborating with various teams, and contributing to projects that drive sales performance and market insights.

Primary Responsibilities

Data Analytics:

  •   Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data across key accounts (e.g., Costco, Walmart, Marriott, etc.).
  • Support the team in tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) for national accounts.
  • Assist in identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within chain customers.
  •  Build, maintain and update dashboards and reports to track performance.
  • Use Excel, Power BI, or similar tools to create visual reports summarizing data insights.

 

Graphic Design:

  • Design visually compelling presentations and sales materials to communicate data findings and key messages to internal and external teams.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to design and update account-specific collateral, promotional materials, and product visuals.
  • Support the creation of engaging infographics, charts, and graphs that simplify complex data.
  • Assist in the creation of mockups and digital content for “customer” presentations.

 

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the ALD National Accounts, Trade Development, and Commercial Strategy teams to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and reports.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects related to pricing, promotions, and product placement within national accounts.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be a Junior in college and graduating the following year

Reside in the vicinity of the internship or have ability to obtain housing

21 years of age or older at the start of the internship

Demonstrated analytical capacity, curiosity, and ability to build presentation/business cases

Able to organize priorities and work under deadlines while producing a high-quality result in a team environment

Strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate both verbally and in writing

Must be detail oriented

Physical Demands

  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor).
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, and standing.
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
