Program Summary: 

Lennar’s Technology Internship Program is a 10-week paid internship beginning in June for rising college seniors, in which associates apply theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom to real-world projects and challenges. The program will facilitate participants’ development of essential interpersonal and technical skills and position associates for future career success and leadership opportunities. Associates will work alongside seasoned professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture while contributing to impactful projects, and become immersed in Lennar’s culture through onboarding (including a visit to a Lennar Community), hands-on training, and team building. Upon program completion, high-performing interns may have an opportunity to return to Lennar as part of the Technology Recent College Grad (RCG) program.  

 

Responsibilities: 

Assist in the execution of cybersecurity processes under the guidance of senior team members 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure data transfer and integration into cybersecurity workflows 

Supporting the organization’s cybersecurity efforts by performing a variety of tasks related to security operations, compliance, and data discovery 

Assist in the identification and assessment of security risks and vulnerabilities across the organization’s systems and processes 

Support the analysis and review of electronic data, extracting relevant information to meet security requirements 

Help maintain accurate documentation and records of cybersecurity activities, adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) 

Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in cybersecurity tools and methodologies 

Maintain a high level of confidentiality and compliance with data protection and privacy regulations 

Communicate project status and update effectively with all levels of the team 

 

Requirements: 

Graduating from a 4-year College or University between December 2025 and May 2026 

Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field 

Must be authorized to work in the United States 

Knowledge of policy and control development as it relates to meeting compliance requirements from relevant regulations such as SOC, FFIEC, PCI, and others 

Ability to explain technical issues confidently and simply without hype or buzzwords 

Ability to work within Scrum & Agile methodologies 

Strong analytical and written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings to a non-technical audience 

Hunger to learn in a complex and fast-paced environment with a positive attitude, both as part of a team and individually 

Strong critical thinking skills and self-directed and innovative mindset 

Interest in solving complex problems and investing the time and energy to overcome roadblocks and learn from mistakes 

Ability to deliver value in an ambiguous environment, including various work assignments and changing priorities 

Ability to meaningfully contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of state-of-the-art technology applications 

Ability to build and sustain working relationships with both business and IT professionals while focusing on the needs of customers and consumers

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements: 

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the ability to work in excess of eight hours per day in the confined quarters of an office.  Also requires the ability to bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and/or carry items less than 50 pounds.  Finger dexterity in operating a computer keyboard and calculator.  Office work requires sitting at a computer monitor for extended periods of time, completing paperwork and to receive/return phone messages.  Standing is required for filing and copying.
