  • Currently enrolled as a university undergraduate student
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Available to commit part-time from January 2025 - May 2025

Content Marketing Intern

Electronic Board Systems

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Content Marketing Intern to join our Content Marketing team. As a Content Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of content marketing for a global software team. This position is ideal for a student studying English, journalism or content marketing who is looking to apply their knowledge and skills in a professional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Derivative content assessment and creation:

Review and assess podcast transcripts for derivative content creation. Content could be turned into an eBook, article, blog, infographic, etc. based on assessment. Intern will work to outline and write new content and potentially work with graphics team to create final deliverable. Below are the episodes that need review:

  • Episode 16 - The power of simulation in PCB design
  • Episode 17 - Revolutionizing power module design
  • Episode 18 - Optimizing multi-board design
  • Episode 19 - Electrical/electronic co-design
  • Episode 20 - The power of FPGA/PCB co-design
  • Episode 21 - Lessons from a PCB designer
  • Episode 22 - The power of design automation
  • Episode 23 - EMI and EMC in Circuit Board Design
  • Episode 24 - The impact of Manufacturing Driven Design on PCB development
  • Episode 25 - Exploring rigid flex PCB design
  • Episode 26 - Power integrity and efficient PDN design
  • Episode 27 - Exploring RF PCB design
  • Episode 28 - A journey through reuse methodologies

Review and assess LinkedIn Live sessions for derivative content creation. Intern will work to outline and write new content and potentially work with graphics team to create final deliverable. Below are the sessions that need review:

  • Ensuring FPGA power integrity: How to optimize & verify PDN performance
  • Practical approaches to rigid-flex PCB design
  • Stop hoping for the best: Fully verify Serdes designs before manufacture
  • Beat the heat: New technology to solve electronic design thermal challenges
  • Redefine ease of electronics systems design with effective data management
  • Optimizing connectivity between Xpedition and HFSS for RF systems design
  • Manufacturing Driven Design
  • PCB Design Best Practices: Design Automation

2. Canto administration:

  • Review and edit all Canto file names to match EMA/Contentful naming conventions
  • Review all files in “old brand” for revamp and/or repurposing

3. Srt file review

  • Watch videos and edit .srt caption files to ensure accuracy before posting to the Siemens website or YouTube channel

4. Blog writing and publishing

  • Outline and write new blogs for the Electronic Systems Design Blog.
  • Edit and publish blog content using WordPress

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a BA in marketing or business
  • Available to work in a hybrid environment (Rosemont, IL)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Availability to work between 10 to 20 hours per week
