Analytics and Business Intelligence Intern

The Diversity and Inclusion Internship Program at The Henry Ford is a cohort-based program that offers professional development, mentorship, and networking opportunities. We invite diverse candidates* who are curious about careers in the museum world to become a part of our legacy and take it forward. For Winter 2025, internships will last 15 weeks, projected to begin on January 21st and conclude on May 2nd.

How will we work together? 

The Analytics and Business Intelligence Intern can expect to work hybrid. Based on specific project needs, there are times when you and the team will work on-site at The Henry Ford’s campus in Dearborn, MI.  

The Analytics and Business Intelligence Intern will have the opportunity to work with multiple departments and cross-functional teams at The Henry Ford. Working directly with our Director of Analytics & Business Intelligence, you will contribute to the success of ongoing and forthcoming projects, organize and optimize current systems, and receive guidance and training that meets you where you are.  

Potential projects for the internship include data mining and cleaning, dashboard visualization, consumer insights, and marketing reporting.  

 

What should you have? 

  • Basic to advanced experience with data querying and modeling
  • Proficiency in working with most systems and tools we currently use (Excel, SQL, Python, and Power BI)
  • An academic background that includes a quantitative focus, such as data science, business analytics, or research
  • Curiosity
  • Dedication to collaboration and teamwork
  • Ability to ask for help
