View our business plan to learn more about the platform. We're about halfway through building our MVP and looking for developer support.

What You'll Do
As a Software Engineer at Faro Investing, you will play a key role in the development of our core investment platform. You’ll collaborate closely with our developer team, contribute to building user-facing features, and help shape the direction of the platform as we move towards launching our MVP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build responsive, dynamic web applications using React and JavaScript.
  • Implement state management using Redux and other libraries.
  • Ensure scalability and high performance across all features, from frontend components to backend systems.
  • Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs.
  • Utilize Git and version control systems for code collaboration.
  • Write clean, maintainable code with a focus on performance and scalability.
  • Continuously improve the platform’s architecture to support future growth.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong proficiency with React, JavaScript, and Redux.
  • Deep understanding of state management and modern web technologies and REST APIs.
  • Experience building scalable, modular web applications.
  • Familiarity with Git and version control systems for managing codebases.

Nice to Have (but not mandatory)

  • Familiarity with any of these- Python, Django, Selenium, Postgres, Tailwind, Azure, ETL pipelines, and REST APIs.
  • Experience with web scraping, data wrangling, and data handling.
  • Knowledge of or experience in the fintech space, though not required.
