Job Summary:
Student internship responsible for screening new promising botanicals/extracts and aid in the development of novel high-throughput screening methodologies.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
1. Assist with daily experiments
2. Record experimental data
3. Prepare samples
4. Perform stability studies
5. Basic spectrophotometric analysis
6. Wet chemistry bench work (pH, titration, dilution, blending)
7. Research literature
8. Final project – Showcasing what has been learned through a poster session with other interns.
Education/Experience:
Required:
· Basic laboratory skills including pipetting, dilutions, weighing.
· Good data recording practices.
· Computer skills, including but not limited to: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
· Majoring in a science field (chemistry, biology, biochemistry, food science)

· Lab Equipment with training

· Lift 50lbs
