Internship – Process & Training Development, Project Management (Summer 2025)

JOB SUMMARY: The Process and Training Development Intern will have the opportunity to collaborate with industry professionals, gaining valuable knowledge, skills, and networking opportunities within business process improvement and training development. In this position, our intern will learn how to enhance and streamline key business processes, contribute to the development of effective training programs, and gain hands-on experience with systems like SharePoint, PowerAutomate, and e-learning tools such as Articulate 360. Additionally, the intern will have the chance to network with team members across multiple departments within UC and assist in our in-person PMWeb (Project Management system) trainings for our UC project teams.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engages with various UC departments to understand their needs and align process improvements and training initiatives with departmental goals.
  • Assists in analyzing and improving existing and/or new business processes, including but not limited to, streamlining workflows, automating processes, refining training programs, and more.
  • Collaborates in the development and updating of training materials, using Articulate360.
  • Assists in managing and coordinating the Process Development & Implementation Training Program, including but not limited to preparing training materials and resources, managing the training schedule, and coordinating project team and stakeholders attendees.
  • Performs ad hoc tasks as needed to support the process and training development team.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION: 

  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
  • Recent graduates will not be eligible for this program.
  • Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
  • An official transcript may be required upon request.
  • Preferred majors include: Business Administration, Project Management, Instructional Design, Industrial Engineering.
  • Preferred coursework completed: Project Management, Organizational Behavior and Change Management, Operations Management, Human Resources.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Preferable skills for success in role include but not limited to:

  • Preferred familiarity with e-learning tools such as Articulate360 or similar software.
  • Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Superior written & verbal communication skills.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.
  • Consistent attendance.

  • This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
  • Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than August 2025.
  • Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
