Structural Intern

Your next role  

As a Structural Intern, you will collaborate with architects and other engineers to develop creative, energy-efficient buildings that provide aesthetics to their physical surroundings and utility to their occupants. Your skills and experience 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in structural, civil or architectural engineering with an emphasis on structures 
  • Coursework in structural analysis, advanced steel design, advanced reinforced concrete design and earthquake engineering. 
  • Revit and 3D modeling skills (Rhino, SketchUp, etc.) are a plus 
  • Interest in the built environment 
  • Eagerness to learn and work as part of a multidisciplinary team 
  • Internship experience at engineering related firm preferred, and proven interest in the built environment
  • Ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas in an accessible manner
  • Eagerness to learn and work as part of a multidisciplinary team

  • Hourly rate of $22 to $32 per hour depending on level of education and geographic location
