The Future Talent Program within the Research and Development Division Data, AI, and Genome Sciences (DAGS) Department is offering co-op opportunities that last a period of six months. There is 1 position in the DAGS AI/ML Ops group. Candidates can apply for the opportunity to be involved in a project designed to enable students to further develop their skills and to evaluate if we are the right company for their long-term goals. We are seeking highly motivated and talented students with computational skills and experience.
DAGS AI/ML Ops (1 position, Cambridge, MA or remote):
Daily technical support for AI/ML Engineers and Data Scientists.
Build/maintain/scale custom code-heavy custom AI/ML infrastructure.
Build/maintain custom Python SDK, accelerating workflows with reusable, reliable code.
Required Education and Skills:
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a minimum of a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science or a related field of study. Students enrolled in graduate programs (MS or PhD) are highly encouraged to apply.
Candidates must be available to work full-time for 6 months in 2025.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Candidates must have demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills and must be able to work well in a collaborative team environment.
Candidates must have excellent academic achievement and analytical ability.
Candidates must have a passion to focus relentlessly on user experience in a fast-paced industry environment.
Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills and a team-focused collaborative mindset to provide technical support to code-heavy AI/ML Engineers and Data Scientists.
Candidates must have experience with the full SDLC of maintaining pip-installable Python Packages following modern DevSecOps best practices.
Candidates must have experience with Confluence and Kanban Jira boards.
Candidates must have experience with AWS, Docker, GitHub, and GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows.
Candidates must have experience with modern Deep Learning Huggingface/Torch frameworks.
Candidates must have experience with distributed GPU-cluster compute.
Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$39,600.00-$105,500.00
