Operations Management Internship

Get hands-on experience in the office and in the field working on road projects in Oakland County this upcoming summer 2025!

Collaborate with the building and fleet managers to:

1. Fill in any gaps within the FMX and Assetworks software programs.
2. Create a replacement plan utilizing a point-based system, along with relevant metrics for current fleet vehicles.
3. Analyze asset information to generate a list of equipment replacements based on engine hours, mileage, condition, and other factors, estimating capital expenditure.
4. Prepare a report that quantifies repair and replacement recommendations for fleet vehicles, equipment, and buildings, including associated costs based on existing metrics.

Requirements:

• Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior college student studying business management, supply chain management, construction management major
• Experience with or interest in engine powered machines
