RFP , Investment Proposals Internship

Parametric is part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, the asset management division. We partner with advisors, institutions, and consultants to build portfolios focused on what’s important to them and their clients. A leader in custom solutions for more than 30 years, we help investors access efficient market exposures, solve implementation challenges, and design multi-asset portfolios that respond to their evolving needs. We also offer systematic alpha and alternative strategies to complement clients’ core holdings.

 Intern roles at Parametric will be part of our hybrid working model – this includes working in the office 2 to 3 days a week and choosing where one works best the remaining days of the week. Eligible applicants must be able to work in assigned office. 100% remote is NOT available.

Duration: June 9th to August 15th, 2025

Office Locations: Boston 

Pay rate is $28.50 per hour. (This position is not benefits eligible)

  General Description

The RFP (Request for Proposals) Intern will be involved in assisting the RFP Team with a wide variety of duties to support the Institutional and Wealth Management distribution channels.  The RFP Intern will assist RFP Specialists with recurring and ad hoc due diligence requests which have a particular focus on firm and strategy level information. The Investment Proposals team serves as the hub through which information is compiled and disseminated to both internal and external clients.  The position requires collaboration with multiple teams, so we are seeking an individual with high initiative that has demonstrated the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. The candidate must be detail oriented, have excellent communication and organizational skills. 

 

Job Requirements

–      Able to work 40 hours per week during the summer 2025.

–      Junior progressing towards a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline preferred.

–      Experience with MS Word and Excel (using PivotTables and V-Lookups), data management and table formatting. 

–      Ability to successfully manage and coordinate simultaneous multiple-level projects and tasks with internal departments with a high attention to detail.

–      Strong written and oral communication skills. Must be detail oriented, have excellent communication and organizational skills and be able to handle a heavy, deadline-oriented workload.

–      Must possess a high level of initiative and have a demonstrated ability to work in a strong team environment.

–      Willingness to learn the firm's structure, key personnel and organizational policies and procedures, in addition to a functional knowledge of a professional services environment.

–      Experience with proposal, database, and/or CRM software a plus.
